She is the current Director of the Africa Centre for Transformative and Inclusive Leadership (ACTIL) , a professor of chemistry at the Kenyatta University , the chairperson of African Women in Science and Engineering, and a member of the board of the International Network Women Engineers & Scientists. She is also a former director of Kenyatta University Nairobi City satellite campus.
